Course overview

The course includes the use of firearms in conjunction with flashlights. In addition to the equipment, understanding light and darkness is essential in order to recognize the dangers and advantages of light in absolute darkness. With this knowledge, you can use darkness and light as a tactical advantage.

Required equipment

• Curiosity and willingness to learn

• Your own flashlight or a second one

• Bluegun, if available

• Note: Please do not bring your own firearm, Blueguns will be used for the practical course.

• Safety rules for handling firearms

• Introduction to the topic of darkness and eyesight

• Useful and less useful flashlights and their stress-free operation

• Advantages of a flashlight even in daylight

• Dangers and benefits of using flashlights with teammates

• Approaching rooms where a perpetrator could be

• Moving with light without revealing the exact location

• Access techniques with light including tips for solo access

• Communication with the team partner
