The smallest and lightest thermal imaging goggles in the world. Can be used as a monocular system on a helmet, as an observation unit in your pocket or as an attachment. Available in various civil and government variants.

Document

The TILO (Thermal Imaging Light Optic) was developed as a thermal imaging goggle. With a length of 4-6cm and a weight of 100g-150g, it is the smallest and lightest thermal imaging goggle available. It can be worn on helmets, caps, and headbands. Currently, there is no comparable device with such high technical performance in such a small design. The performance is on par with larger handheld systems. One example: the TILO-6 features a thermal sensor with high resolution, boasting 640x512 pixels. Furthermore, all devices in the series are equipped with high-performance LEDs. The newer TILO models come with a temperature resolution of at least > 20mK. This allows them to display temperature differences of less than 0.02°C, which is a significant advantage in adverse weather conditions or indoor settings.

Thermal mode

The high thermal resolution of up to <20mK enables orientation even indoors or in bad weather conditions. The comparatively large field of view of 24° for thermal imaging devices also contributes to this. This makes the TILO ideal for use in hunting or in reconnaissance and observation scenarios.

Headlamp mode

If the TILO is only used in light mode, the energy consumption only depends on the brightness setting. The three high-power LEDs (white, red, IR) can be selected in 5 different brightness levels. Regular thermal mode can also be used at the same time as headlight mode. Only the LED boost mode is excluded from this.

TILO-3™ series

The TILO-3 is currently the smallest of the small. With a CR123 battery it achieves a runtime of over three hours. Can be extended up to six hours with a 16650 battery. The simple Z version delivers a lower thermal resolution, but scores with an attractive price.

TILO-3Z+2X™ series

TILO-3Z+ with a more powerful lens for reconnaissance and observation purposes. Due to the higher magnification, this version has a longer detection range of 1000 m. This makes the TILO-3Z+2x an affordable alternative to the powerful TILO-6. The greater magnification limits the field of view to 12°. This makes it rather unsuitable for use as thermal imaging glasses.

TILO-6™ series

With the sensor resolution of 640×512 pixels and a thermal resolution of <40mK or <20mK, the TILO-6Z+ leaves nothing to be desired. This is only trumped by the TILO-6Z+A with a Ceratkot-coated and saltwater-resistant aluminum housing. The regular Z version, on the other hand, offers a cost-effective entry with <60mK thermal resolution.

TILO™ attachment lens

With the 2x attachment lens, the area of ​​application of the TILO-6 can be significantly expanded. This makes it possible to expand the world's smallest thermal imaging goggles into a medium-range observation device. In contrast to conventional afocal lenses, the thermal resolution only deteriorates slightly despite high magnification. The additional lens covers the entire lens surface of the TILO™, which is why there is almost no loss of light (loss of heat radiation). Using the buttons, the afocal lens can be calibrated within seconds, reducing or even preventing possible vignetting. The auxiliary lens comes with a practical and quick-to-install bayonet connection.

Only available for the TILO-6 series and the TILO-3Z+2x.

TILO-M series - sales only to authorities:

The TILO-M series is sold exclusively to government customers, preferably police and game wardens. The devices are ITAR-free. Users from these areas only need a COC approval, which is issued without any problems within the EU and the following countries: Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Norway.
Private customers regularly do not receive approval.

Except for the color and the bayonet connection, the TILO-3M corresponds to the civilian TILO-3Z+ and the TILO-6M is otherwise identical to the TILO-6Z+. These are the most powerful models with 320×256 or 640×512 pixels.

ELCAN Adapter

With the ELCAN adapter, the TILO is the only thermal imaging device that can be attached directly to an ELCAN Specter DR 1x/4x. The latest generation allows for simplified attachment and has an improved locking mechanism.

TILO-M series Use as a thermal imaging attachment

All TILO-M versions can be used as an attachment on the weapon/optics thanks to the built-in bayonet ring. We recommend the TILO-6MA for this purpose, which is made entirely of metal and thus ensures higher precision and a long-lasting repetition rate. Various adapters for LVPOs and a special assembly for the ELCAN Specter are available. With the Red Dot Flipper we also offer a flip-to-side solution for reflex sights. Note: the best performance is achieved in combination with optics with a magnification of 1x.
