At a weight of approx. 300g and a length of around 10cm, the PumIR is no larger than a beverage can and therefore significantly smaller than the TigIR. In combination with the matching objective lens, however, the PumIR has a 30% higher detection range of 4000m. This long-range option is unique in this weight and size class. The low-profile design allows use with tactical rifle scopes, which can also be equipped with an additional reflex sight (e.g. LPVOs, ELCAN Specter, Trijicon 4x32 ACOG with RMR). Alternatively, a backup sight such as the ACRO from Aimpoint can be mounted directly on the PumIR via an interface on the top of the housing. Of course, the PumIR series also features all the popular capabilities of thermal imaging devices developed by Andres Industries. We are happy to advise you on the civilian and official versions.

PumIR objective lens
The PumIR lens cap can be replaced by a 2x afocal lens. This increases the detection range to up to 4000m. The PumIR recognizes the lens automatically and the collimation information is retrieved from memory. This means that the PumIR does not need to be recalibrated after attaching the afocal lens. The automatic power-on and power-off function also works with the cap of the afocal lens.

Combination with reflex sights
New to the PumIR is the top platform for special accessory options. This enables the use of rifle scopes with an attached backup reflex sight. Alternatively, a microvisor, e.g. B. the ACRO series from Aimpoint, can be attached using the adapter plate (see p. 35).
