Mikron NV Binocular

The German Armed Forces alone are procuring around 166,000 units of the MIKRON-D system.
This is a state-of-the-art binocular night vision device, designed for tactical users who require maximum reliability, maximum flexibility, minimal size and light weight.

The system's performance is based on 16 mm Photonis 4G MIL-SPEC image intensifier tubes with a FOM value of over 2,200, which enable particularly outstanding visual acuity and detail recognition. Its compact design, high optical precision, and versatile application possibilities make the MIKRON-D the ideal solution for military, police, and security forces.

For maximum flexibility, the two monoculars can be folded away separately. When both monoculars are swivelled upwards, the system adapts perfectly to the helmet's contours. This reduces the silhouette and neck strain while minimizing the risk of damaging the device. The system reliably switches off automatically when folded up.

Unintentional shutdown during operation is reliably prevented – even in demanding situations such as:

• strong upward gaze, e.g. when securing forces during entry into higher building floors
• Looking upside down, e.g. when inspecting under vehicles

Unintentional reactivation is also prevented. This is achieved through the precise interaction of the device unit with the specially designed helmet mount included in the scope of delivery.

The system can optionally be supplemented by the IRIS-C and its extensive range of accessories, thus enabling extended sensor fusion and operational flexibility.

The scope of delivery corresponds to the procurement package of the armed forces. It should be noted that the helmet mount and carrying cap are already included as standard.

The helmet shown is not included in the delivery.
