TILO attachment lens

With the 3x attachment lens you can increase the range of your TILO considerably. The special thing about this lens is that despite the 3x magnification there is no noticeable loss of dynamic range. The image remains high-contrast even in unfavorable thermal conditions. This is only possible in this form with the TILO's 12µm VOx sensor.
Ultimately, the attachment lens covers the entire lens surface of the TILO, which means there is no "loss of light" (ie loss of heat radiation). After calibration, no vignetting (dark outer area of ​​the image) is visible. Together with the new 3x attachment lens, you get a bayonet connection that allows the lens to be mounted or removed within seconds. This means that, for example, targets that were discovered with the TILO when used as thermal imaging goggles can be clearly identified after attaching the attachment lens.

A NOTICE: If the additional lens is mounted, the robustness of the TILO is significantly reduced in the event of a fall. To counteract this, the adapter can also be permanently glued to the TILO housing. This is offered as a free service. If the government versions of the TILO are to be used in combination with the additional lens as an attachment device, this permanent attachment is strongly recommended. Only the adapter is permanently attached to the TILO - the lens is of course still removable.
